Q&A with Josh Fuller, Master Technician

Why did you decide to get into automotive repair?

For the love of cars. My grandfather taught me how to turn a wrench out of necessity when I was 7 or 8 years old.

What do you like about working at MasterWorks Automotive?

I enjoy the people the most. The lighthearted atmosphere and team camaraderie make it fun to work at MasterWorks.

What’s your dream car?

That’s a hard question. As I’m an avid car enthusiast with a knack for the eclectic and rare, this was hard to narrow down. If I had to pick an era of cars, it would be the 1930’s with sweeping lines and art-deco styling. Since I love most cars, I narrowed it down to one car per decade:

  • 1908 Stanley model K “Stanley Steamer”
  • 1911 Hudson Speedabout
  • 1929 Bentley 4.5 Litre Vanden Plas
  • 1938 Delahaye 165 Figoni & Falaschi
  • 1940 Duesenberg SJ LaGrande Phaeton
  • 1954 Jaguar D-type
  • 1967 Toyota 2000 GT
  • 1974 Lancia Stratos HF
  • 1980 Vector W2 Twin Turbo

Do you have any hobbies?

Building engines, building hotrods, smoking tires and cruising at car shows with my daughter. And car history. It just fascinates me.
